Our "CRCOGWhat" video series will launch on December 18. This video series aims to help inform the public about our work and why we do it. We're also launching a "#CRCOGWhat" social media contest to promote the video series. Here are the contest rules:
Eligibility: #CRCOGWhat social media contest is open to legal residents of Connecticut. Entrants must be 18 years or older as of the date of their contest submission to qualify.
Sponsorship: Capitol Region Council of Governments is the contest sponsor, located at 350 Church Street, Hartford, CT, 06103.
Contest Rules: No fee is necessary to participate. The video series and contest will start on December 18, 2024 at 9 am. Every time a video is released, a contest entrant will have a chance to win if the entrant engages with CRCOG social posts within that two-week period. We will release a new video every two weeks. To enter, you will have to visit us on Facebook, follow us, and/or subscribe to CRCOG’s YouTube channel. Individuals will receive additional entries when they like our page, view a post/video, or watch a video on our YouTube Channel. The contest is subject to federal, state, and local regulations and is void where prohibited by law. The Sponsor’s employees and consultants, its subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, Board and Executive Committee members, and members of Employees’ immediate family and/or those living in the same household of Employees are ineligible to participate in this contest. The contest winner will be chosen on a bi-weekly basis. No fee is necessary to participate in the contest. Prizes will be awarded on a bi-weekly basis. All winning entrants will be contacted.
Agreement: By entering into this contest, the Entrant (you) agrees to abide by the Sponsor’s Official Rules and decisions, which are fully unconditionally binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time at the Sponsor’s discretion. By entering this contest, the (You) represents and warrants that (You) are eligible to participate based on eligibility requirements explained in the Official Rules. You also agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content in the “#CRCOGWhat social media contest.”

Contest period entry period: This contest begins Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 9 a.m. Eastern time and ends Monday, January 20, 2025, at 5 p.m. Eastern time. To be eligible for this contest, your post engagement(s) must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29, 2025. Any member of the public can request a list of the winners.
