Post Event Resources
Thank you for attending CRCOG’s Vision Zero Workshop on January 30, 2025.
Experts from state, regional, and local organizations provided an overview of Vision Zero concepts and strategies to eliminate deaths and injuries on roadways. Appointed and elected officials from local governments shared their experiences implementing transportation safety action plans. Special thanks to Shawna Kitzman of Toole Design for moderating the Panel Discussion, and to all guest speakers and their supporting staff!
Let’s keep the conversation moving forward until we reach our goal of zero. You can contact Rob Aloise, Transportation Planning Director, or Roger Krahn, Principal Transportation Engineer, with questions about CRCOG’s transportation planning efforts and the update to the regional transportation safety action plan, and Elizabeth Sanderson to discuss funding opportunities.
CRCOG is committed to bringing our members information they can use to improve lives across our region. Join us for our next event, a collaboration with Connecticut Main Street Center about transit-oriented development (TOD), on March 20, 2025. Learn more and register here.
